Description of issue:

Hi There, thanks for reading.
I’ve had sonarr working flawlessly for some time, however recently (perhaps since update?) the blacklist has not worked, instead the system repeatedly downloads the same failed release over and over. The system downloaded nearly 1.5TB of data in ten days of failed releases.

Here’s a link showing blacklist and history of just 1 family guy episode. https://www.dropbox.com/s/u2rpbv3zqhz5mxb/Errors.docx?dl=0

I noticed it was all Gingadaddy RSS, so i’ve deleted Gingadaddy and left Newztown as my only indexer. But it’s too soon to tell if isolated to Gingadaddy
I think it might be:
a) by updating Sonarr within the App (i.e. not from within docker in unraid?)
b) a bug in Gingadaddy RSS ?

Not sure what to do here, thanks for any input.

Sounds like they are generating a new unique ID for the same NZB (we’ve seen some indexers under NZBHydra do that). Which tells Sonarr it’s not the same release that it previously grabbed and Sonarr grabs it again.

Thanks @markus101. I actually deleted and reinstalled the docker container to check it wasn’t the issue and the problem persists. Turned off redownload fails option for the time being. Will explore other options.
