Sonarr asking for username and password immediately after install

Hi, I’ve just installed sonarr and when I double click the icon on my desktop it opens in my web browser and asks for a username and password. The problem is, I don’t have a username and password.

I’ve tried admin for both username and password and no success.

Does anyone have any suggestions?

There is not a default password. Sounds like Sonarr/NzbDrone was previously installed and the app data for it is still there and being used.

You’ll need to tell Sonarr not to use a password or clear the existing config file, more details in this thread:

I did something stupid :frowning: I set a username and password on the http page, and I must have mistyped either the username or password, and now I can't log in to Sonarr. I've even tried re-installing, but it looks like the config is kept because it still asks for username and password. What do I do?

I have the same problem only I set the username and password and saved the results checked for the chrome to save password now I can’t join! Can anyone help

Follow the linked post to disable authentication so you can reset it.
