Sonarr and Transmission path problem

Hi everyone,

just installed Sonarr on my Sino NAS and it is fetching series already !

I still have a problem to make it work properly with Transmission though… path and incorrectly transmited. I can see the torrent starting in Transmission, but the path is not the one i put in the path serie in sonarr.

Example : for altered carbon serie

i create the serie in sonarr by searching it in the search engine. I add it after setting this path :

/volume1/Series/CouchpotatoSeries/Altered Carbon/Altered Carbon

after finding the serie in one of the indexers, it sends it to Transmission, which creates it with this path :

/volume1//Altered.carbon.etc.torrentname

Sonarr doesn’t tell Transmission to use the series path, but after download Sonarr will move (if it’s finished seeding) or Hardlink/copy the file to the series folder (some info on that is in the FAQ).

Actually, since the paths transmitted to Transmission is incorrect, Transmission stops the download from the very beginning…

how is Transmission supposed to know where to download then ?

Transmission will download to it’s default folder.

Make sure you haven’t overridden the directory in Sonarr’s transmission settings or if you want to, make sure it’s a valid path on the host running transmission.
