Sonarr actvity tab always shows 100%

Description of issue:
So i use torrent blackhole. I tell my download program, deluge 1.35 to not move the files where torrent blackhole drops them. So the sonarr processing folder is the same folder as the download folder for deluge. The problem is that regardless of how far along the download is the activity tab in sonarr shows the download at 100%. Oddly if you hold you mouse over “time left” it shows 0 b / (some number). In other words its keeping track of how large the download is. Put it still says its 100%. The problem occurs when the torrent for whatever reason pauses or slows down. Since sonarr sees the file at 100% it processes the file even thou it isn’t done. It can be 1% but if it pauses or stops moving data torrent gets processed. I have told deluge to not pre-allocate space.

I know the solution is to use two different folders (one for downloads and one for processing) but then i can’t track the download progress from the activity tab in sonarr, which is alot easier. When using two folders it doesn’t show up in the activity tab until its moved to the other folder, after its completed.

You’re not going to be able to get both, unless you use a proper Deluge connection in Sonarr.

Ok. The deluge web is buggy as hell.when I hook it up to API it drops from sonarr and can’t be accessed. I looked into other clients but deluge is the only one I know who let’s you limit seeding by time instead ratio. Any suggestions?

Not sure what else you could try. I know the Deluge web API isn’t the most reliable, but I’ve never known it to fail constantly.

ok so i upgraded to deluge 2.0, which admittedly is in beta. However when i try and join it to sonarr i keep getting authentication failed. I can log into the web ui with the passwords i specified. I also tried setting the password to nothing but still no dice in sonarr. I realize this is a new issue and i can make a new inc if you want. Im also not sure if this is a sonarr issue or a deluge webui issue. I cant find any other posts about 2.0 not connecting so i thought id try here.

Sounds like they may have changed how the authentication has been performed. Not sure if that’s an issue we’d need to fix or something broke in 2.0 and needs to be fixed.
