Sonaar has been rock solid on my FreeBSD machine, until now. What did I do?

Hi guys,

I want to start by expressing how brilliant your work is here. Thank you so much!!

However, a day ago it crashed giving me a SIGSEGV error and now will not run for more than a minute.

I know it is my environment as the nzbdrone.db works flawlessly on my windows machine but that is my games machine :stuck_out_tongue: So I need to work out what has changed on my side and would love some suggestions. I have been told to look into Mediainfo failing while importing a file but I have upgraded Mediainfo during my attempts to resolve it, should I try something else with it?

I have already tried deinstalling & reinstalling mono. I have updated my packages (binaries) which noted that mono needed to be reinstalled again due to a shared library requirement, but this did not fix anything either.

This is a link to the error I am getting in the console: http://pastebin.com/AyZnVijF

Thanks for your time

Which version of mediainfolib is installed?
Which version of mono is installed?
Which version of Sonarr?

This looks like a problem with mediainfo and the file that Sonarr is trying to import before mono crashes, removing the offending file should get Sonarr running for longer than a minute as it would be trying to import that file every time Sonarr starts up.

Thanks Markus,

I am unable to confirm the versions at the moment but I will update the post as soon as I get home.

How would I identify the offending file?

Sonarr should log that its processing a file for import and the path to that file, then it would crash, you’ll want debug logs though.

Thanks, I will look into it. The logs are set to debug already.

I cleaned out the download folder and all seems well so far. I could not find which file was causing the problems but I am doing some more poking around to see what I can see.

Thanks for your help
