[SOLVED] TBA - how to bypass

Sonarr version 3.0.6.1196
Mono version 5.20.1.24-16
Synology DSM 6.2.3-25426 Update 3

When I add a TV series to Sonarr, I sometimes get a ‘TBA’ where the actual publication date is allready past. Sonarr is bypassing the download. That is ok if it is an episode in the future (not the actual date) but

  • how can I bypass this when the actual episode is already available although there is this ‘TBA’ text in its description?
  • Is the ‘TBA’ text generated by the indexer I use?
  • Is there a way I can replace this ‘TBA’ with, IMDB or Trakt episode information so that it will be processed?

  • set “Episode Title Required” to never in Media Management
  • no, it comes from thetvdb and there’s various caches in between your sonarr and the site so it may take 24-ish hours or longer to update
  • no, any and all metadata comes from thetvdb.com
