Hi all, i’m giving Sonarr a try over Sickbeard. I’ve imported my shows but a couple of them have picked up the wrong show from thetvdb.

for example, there are 2 “The Flash” shows. One from 1990 and the other from 2015. I’m wanting the 2015 show but its automatically picked up the 1990 show. I’m guessing this is down to the fact that my shows name on my local machine is set to “The Flash”

Is there a way to resolve this and pick up the correct show?

If you’ve already added the incorrect one, remove it from Sonarr and import it again, but you’ll need to pick another result or search again. Sonarr picks the best series based on the folder name, if your folder was named The Flash it would pick the original if it was named The Flash (2015) it would pick the one from 2015.

thanks for this. when i originally added all my shows it was done in bulk and i didn’t really watch what it was doing.

deleting the show and adding them back in and seeing what it’s doing has allowed me to add the show with the correct name / show ID.
