Description of issue:
Hello,
Is it possible to setup two SABnzbd instances and have Sonarr provide the option on where to send the files to?
I have two SABnzbd instances setup (one locally, one on a remote seedbox) and would like to pick and choose if need be. The local server doesn’t have a great CPU and when SAB runs full tilt, it uses almost all of the CPU available while going through the unrar/unpacking process, causing processing limitations for other things like Plex. (The CPU is garbage but it came with the server, and finding a decent replacement has been a drawn out process).
The remote server is a lot more capable (given it’s on a shared seedbox), but I can’t see an option within Sonarr to pick and choose where to send .nzb files to (please correct me if the option already exists).
If I have both instances enabled, it defaults to my local server. Doesn’t matter which order I enable them in, always picks local.
Any help would be appreciated.
EDIT:
I’ve enabled tracing within Sonarr, and Sonarr can definitely see both SABnzbd instances, but seems to favour local as there’s a lot more logs about it than the remote box.
As a test, I’ve setup the local SAB server on a DNS redirect to make it look like it’s available from the internet, thinking that maybe the local 192.168.0.0/16 range held more priority than a web hostname… nope; identical result.
Even renamed the remote SABnzbd instance with a _ (ie. _SABnzbd - Remote) to make it float to the top of the alphabetical list, didn’t make any difference
