Setting up Sonarr on Mac Mini

Hey all! Need some help here. I’ve had some experience setting up on a PC, but this is the first time I’ve tried with a Mac. A bit lost!

I tried following some of the suggestions on the site, including installing homebrew. I was able to do that, but couldn’t get homebrew cast to install. I also installed Monoframework, although so far it hasn’t done anything to allow me to open Sonarr.

So, I am pretty much starting from scratch and I am not super savvy when it comes to the back end tech side of things.

If you grab the zip release of Sonarr it should setup everything for you including mono. Once you run Sonarr you will need to connect to the web interface, http://localhost:8989/

I have just set this up on a Mac ( aside from my lack of Sabnzbd skills ) it was fairly straight forward. I used the files Markus101 mentions.

This article explains how to autostart on OS-X, may look scary if never used a Mac before but is straight forward.
