Setting up sonar w/ uTorrent 2.2.1 and MTV

I had uTorrent 3.x set up before when I was using public trackers
Now I’m trying to set it up with a private tracker I recently joined.
It seems that Sonarr does not support uTorrent 2.2.1 and private trackers do not support uTorrent 3.0+
Is it still recommended to use uTorrent or would something else be more compatible.
Next it seems I need to set up Jakette?
I installed Jakette but don’t see how to pair it with Sonarr
it seems that combination wil make it more complicated with Sonarr.

What is the best way to set this up?

While uTorrent 2 has an API, it doesn’t support endpoints/options we need so only uTorrent 3 is supported.

You will need to setup Jackett.

Plenty of private trackers allow uTorrent 3.0+, but why not try something else, Deluge or Transmission?

Not really sure what Jackett has to do with this. Jackett is only used to add additional trackers that don’t have an api.

Because MTV is not supported by Sonarr. I will considering moving to Deluge but I have over 3000 torrents seeding.

I’m trying to set up sonarr to work with MTV and having a lot of trouble with it.
I run on windows with uTorrent 2.2.1 and have added Jackett which is apparently needed.
I followed the guide to install jackett.
Added it to Sonarr as a client with the URL and API
error- "usenet is not enabled for this series"
a short google later I change me settings…
I change my Delay Profiles from Torrents only to usenet prefer.

new error - DownloadService Usenet Download client isn’t configured yet.
I had it working fine with KAT for a few months before it stopped working (KAT is blocked now)

You added jacket as a newznab indexer (usenet newsgroups) instead of torznab.
