I understand sonarr ignores or doubles the file size limits that have been set when it looks for a series opener or finale. In case its a double episode length.
Is there anyway for me to stop this behaviour. I’m having to re-download a lot of series so i don’t want to try and manually work around this.
Don’t think there’s a real way to stop this behaviour because mostly the first(Pilot) and last episodes (Double episode) are double the episode length.
But you could check why it is downloading episodes you don’t want.
I never had it happen that it download a episode i don’t want but i got a strict profile and Restrictions setup.
perhaps if you could give a example or tell us what happend that you needed to re-download a lot of series.
Its not downloading episodes I don’t want but the vast majority of TV series don’t have double length openers after the firs season and its rare for S01E01 to be longer in any case.
It should also download normal length episodes,
Because not all pilots or season finals are double length.
It does for me.
Did you tinker with the episode length settings ?
You could do a manual search for one of the episodes and then look why it ignored the episode when hovering with the mouse over the “!”
