OS:

Description of issue:

Whatever I do, I cannot have the folders automatically created. The location I tried in the pastebin logs is a remote location mounted locally. I tried also with a local path but no success. The option “Create empty series folders” is Enabled. Everything else works fine. If I manually create the series folder, the metadata will be downloaded after disk scan. I really don’t know what to do else. I thought is a permissions related problem but it’s not (or maybe I don’t know where to look). The Sonarr starts as an Upstart event. The user set in the event is the user I currently use on Ubuntu. The config was created under the user in the /home dir.

Could you please help me with this?
Thanks!

16-8-17 11:27:40.7|Warn|DiskScanService|Series' root folder (/qnap-share/Transmission/SERIALE) is empty.

Sonarr sees that the parent folder is empty and can’t determine if it is empty due to nothing being there or empty because a remote mount is disconnected.

At least one folder needs to be present for Sonarr to create the series folder.
