I think this issue was already raised here Series page sort order. But I don’t see it tracked anymore yet the issue persists. If you sort by path in the series editor it actually remembers that sort in the main series view. The main series view doesn’t have a path column so you can’t actually see how the list is sorted unless you go back into series editor.
That looks like a different issue, the issue with this one is the same collection of models are used in both locations and the same logic is used to store which column is being sorted, so changing it on one view affects the the other (sort by episodes on the main page and the series editor will also not show the active sort).
