Sonarr version (exact version): 2.0.0.4326 Mono version (if Sonarr is not running on Windows): 4.2.1 OS: ((Debug logs)): (Make sure debug logging is enabled in settings and post the full log to hastebin/pastebin/dropbox/google drive or something similar, do not post them directly here) Description of issue:
I have my main folder as “tv_series”. At the moment, in this folder I have Shameless.US.S01.720p.BluRay.X264-REWARD as a season folder.
When I choose the folder above, i.e. “tv_series”, I assume this should sort the existing season folder under the season name but what happens is that all other season folders go under this folder.
Each series has it’s own series folder (just one) and inside that the season folders, by telling Sonarr that that is the series folder it will add the season folders underneath.
It needs to be arranged something like so:
tv_series
Shameless US
Season 01
Season 02
Other Show
Season 01
I would remove Shameless from your library, tell Sonarr to add Shameless as a new series then move Shameless.1080p.Bluray-SceneName into either your drone folder if you have one (easiest) or move it into the new Shameless root folder that Sonarr would have created and have it refresh that series and then rename the files.
Sonarr will create season folders for you, but it won’t create them like you have named (as a release name). The issue is you have set the season folder as the series folder.
As @JonathonSunshine said, remove Shameless and re-add it (don’t import it) and either create a folder with the name Sonarr expects or tell Sonarr to create empty series folders and it will create it then move the season folder inside. Don’t use Drone Factory, it’s unnecessary and Manual Import would be a better option.
Alternatively you could create a new Series Folder for Shameless and move your season folder inside, then tell Sonarr to location of the series folder by editing the series.
