Seedbox, webdrive and sonarr import issues

Hey all! Background:

I have a seedbox that I have connected through sonarr as the Downloader

I mapped all the remote/local paths correctly to represent what each path is through webdrive.

Webdrive is a mapped drive through ftp to my seedbox.

The main problem is if sonarr tries to import a file from the remote seedbox ( sonarr is on my personal PC), it fails if the webdrive is inactive. As soon as I open up the drive through Explorer it will start the import. It’s like the ftp connection is timed out and sonarr can’t initiate it. Any ideas ?

Hello,

In WebDrive, you can try enabling Keep-Alives to keep the connection active. You can enable this setting by going to Site Properties --> FTP Settings and checking the box for “Keep connection alive.” This causes WebDrive to send data every so often (interval) in order to keep the connection active.

The server may have a specific timeout period, so the internal in WebDrive may need to be adjusted to fit with the server.

Thank you ! ! I have figured out what I need to do to get it to work. I needed to disable caching .

On a separate note… how come sonarr doesn’t remove finished torrents. … is it just because it’s rtorrent? Should I use deluge instead?
