Season 2 deleted and replaced with season 1

Yesterday Sonarr found the full season 1 of tokyo ghoul in good quality and started downloading it because I was missing it, it seemed to recognize it was season 1 however when I woke up I noticed it had deleted every season 2 episode I had so far and replaced it with the full season which hasn’t aired yet, I tried watching and they were all season 1, Is there a way to prevent this from happening in the future such as renaming old episodes instead of deleting them or anything like that. Also it would be nice if there was a way to recover the episodes I lost but since I didn’t have a backup I don’t think its likely.

Use the Recycling bin feature of Sonarr to prevent immediate deletion of episodes.

In History Sonarr will show the source file name for the episodes it imported, with that we might be able to understand why it sorted them incorrectly.

It seems the file names were along the lines of

[JacobSwaggedUp] Tokyo Ghoul [Season 1] (BD 1280x720)/[JacobSwaggedUp] Tokyo Ghoul - 03 (BD 1280x720).mp4

@markus101 Didn’t we fix this already weeks ago?

You know, the Tokyo Ghoul A parsing stuff. And the duplicate abs numbering.

Still had this in my browser history: http://thexem.de/xem/show/1847

Yeah, but I think that was season 1 getting replaced with season 2 episodes.

@Dustin_riddick which version of Sonarr are you running? If its less that 2.0.0.2850, please upgrade.

I believe it was up to date as of maybe a week ago. I some unrelated issues however and am rebuilding up my system now so I don’t know for sure.
