Search for all episodes in a season not working, as you can see the 18th episode should have been found but it didn’t do anything just kinda crapped out.

On that one eposide on manual search all but 1 was rejected because I am only downloading if video has x265 in the release name. But it’s irrelevant because if I click on auto search on a single episode it auto search and downloads it fine only if I am doing a full season search does it fail to return any results
I don’t see Marvels Agents of S H I E L D S02E09 720p HDTV 2CH x265 HEVC-PSA in either of those log files, which means it either wasn’t included in those log files or it wasn’t returned from KAT.
Since the logs don’t show the URL that Sonarr hit the logs are definitely truncated, but you should be able to get the URL from the logs and check in a browser to see if it was returned.
I just had this happen again. Was an accident, hit the search on a season and said shit, I don’t want to download all those, then nothing happened.
hastebin says the file is too big, so here is a link. log file
Update: I was looking through the log and saw this a few times…
15-10-2 21:50:39.4|Debug|MonitoredEpisodeSpecification|Only 0/1 episodes are monitored. skipping.
Yes, the season and the episodes are not monitored. So for the hell of it, I decided to monitor one of them and run the season search again and it found that one.
I sort of get what’s going on, but, if I am telling Sonarr to do something manually, should it not override the season monitoring?
Season monitoring does two things, toggles the individual episodes in the season and stops new episodes in the season from being monitored automatically, when checking if a release is wanted the individual episodes are checked, not the season.
Season searches respects the episode monitored status an individual episode search ignores the monitored status of the episode. The reason being you may intentionally ignore one or more episodes in a season and want the others to be grabbed, but not the missing ones. Series search has the same behaviour (it searches a season at a time).
I understand, just don’t know if I agree with it. At the least the tool tip shouldn’t say “search for all episodes”. Should probably say “search for all monitored episodes”.
