Just a caveat for those who might make the same dumb mistake.
I was on the unfiltered view, and hit the search all missing b/c I wanted it to manually search for old missing eps of shows.
Well . . . it searched for EVERYTHING missing, even unmonitored stuff. Not a big deal, but I figured I’d let others know.
Whoops, forgot to add the filter to only look for monitored episodes. Fixed now and will be available soon.
Ok. I thought it was intentional, as you can look in history for all missing, and there is a ‘monitored only’ option.
Might be nice to do it both ways, but with clear verbage. It DID warn me that there would be a lot of api hits (Which is GREAT!). But it didnt’ say anything about checking unmonitored stuff.
Yeah, never was intended to search for unmonitored, don’t think that it makes sense to. I can see the reason for wanting to see whats missing and unmonitored, but mass searching for all missing is a bit crazy.
Thanks for catching this.
I’m good at finding things that trip me up.
Honestly, I can see a (rare) use case for finding unmonitored missing. So if it’s easy to implement a toggle, I would, with default to only find monitored missing.
But it’s something you’d have to figure out - amount of work vs use.
