Sample File Issue - Not deleting

When a show completes downloading the episode is over to the appropriate folder automatically.

Sorted by show and season.

However the folder it was moved from also contained a sample file.

So the folder is not deleted after the actual show has been moved.

Is there a way around this?

Sonarr version (exact version):

((Debug logs)):
(Make sure debug logging is enabled in settings and post the full log to hastebin/pastebin/dropbox/google drive or something similar, do not post them directly here)

Mono Version

MacOS 10.12.3

Which file was imported and the sample not deleted in this log?

Billions and The Batchelor i think are the two series that repeatedly seem to fail to delete. The sample file left behind is RARBG.mp4

I see a series rescan for both those series, but neither of them is being imported in the logs. Sonarr does see a new episode for The Bachelor in during the rescan though.

Does the download client/something else put the files into the series folder?
If so, that’s the issue, Sonarr won’t cleanup files if it’s not doing the importing.
If not, we’ll need to see logs of Sonarr importing the files from the download client to investigate further.

As far as I’m aware sonar is the only thing that moves files into a series folder.

Transmission is the download client, and Plex is scanning for new files, but as far as I’m away neither is deleting or moving files on completion.

If transmission is still seeding then Sonarr won’t move/remove anything (this is covered in the ((FAQ))), beyond that we’ll need to see the ((debug logs)) from an import.

Seeding is not an issue, as I think it stops seeding once download completes.

When you say logs after an import do I need to wait for next weeks show to download and send logs after that?

Yes, or whenever you see the same issue.
