Hi there,
I just downloaded a show that has its episode files named in reverse. I am not sure how common this is. If it is common, would you consider adding some sort of check to see if a file name is named that way to parse it accordingly?
i am curious what you mean as well do you mean for example instead of
The Blacklist
it is
Blacklist The
if so that is odd but not surprising i had some episodes this week which when extracted by sabnzbd was a string of numbers and letters i had to play them and work out what they were and what episode
not sure if this will help with the situation but i found a handy tip off a forum of one of my indexers i have been getting releases usually from a release that has -RP on the end and they have been extract and i am left with a random string of numbers and letters instead of the episode name this apparently a step to prevent episodes being traced
anyways someone quite clever though of a way to get around it with sabnzbd you have the sorting options if you simply setup some sorting options sabnzbd will rename the .mp4, avi, etc… after the folder name or rar name so sabnzbd will auto-rename the file from some jumbled mess to a basic readable name format which then NzbDrone can detect and handle the rest
this is great for me because i would wonder why some eps hadn’t updated in NzbDrone but said the downloaded in sabnzbd and i was wondering where the hell they went then i find them in the Drone factory in these unidentifiable names so i have to play them and work out what was what and manually rename them so NzbDrone could grab them
