Long story short I’m building a new system this weekend and giving a friend my old system. All I’m doing is repointing various programs to when he has certain folders versus where I have them and keep all the same including the current username so I don’t have to do a complete OS, software install and tweak of the system. That said the two programs I will need to reset to add his programs versus mine are Sonarr and Radarr. I would simply like to wipe the movies and series in both leaving the rest of the settings in place. Since his root folder are mounted the same as mine with the same permissions there should be no issue there. I should then just be able to go in change the user and password and just add his shows and movies. So my question is can I just in one go for each app remove all movies and shows.
Good day not trying to rush anyone by any means but I really would like to know if I can remove the current TV and Movies in each app in one go per app. I’m just about done building my new system and will be giving my roommate this one very quickly.
Thanks,
Some variation of the below?
- Remove the root folder
- Empty trash (if that is even needed)
- Add the root folder back
What does the root folder have to do with removing the series listed in Sonarr? I get removing and adding the root folder back to reset the folders the apps see, but I want to remove all series and add his has instead. As for trash I don’t have Sonarr or Radarr completely automated cause I don’t need them completely automated. They just find the content, pass it to Deluge, and once downloaded manually copied to another folder, renamed with FileBot, and then once watch filed to their folders.
From the main page just Select Series > Select All > Delete then?
