Hi, It would be great if the episode number in the renamer was more flexible and supported the SEE format eg ‘Show Name 101 Episode Title’. Without the ‘x’ separator that is currently available eg ‘SxEE’.
Sonarr will only let you using a naming format it can properly parse, multi-episode releases are going to be the problem with that. SEE is also ambiguous with 3 digit absolute episode numbers, making it harder to parse reliably and Sonarr is forced to guess a bit.
No plans to explicitly support it, as it is complicated and fragile.
Markus101, Thanks for your response. Its a pity as all my shows follow this format. I have been using this format for over 20 years, as it was the default naming convention when I first started downloading. I will have to continue using Filebot for renaming as it does support this format, and before that ‘The renamer’ also supported this format.
