I’m not familiar with the inner workings of release matching but the show “Secrets & Lies (US)” is finding matches from my indexer for “Secrets & Lies”. The show with the (US) in the title hasn’t even aired it’s pilot yet and doesn’t have any available releases but yet Sonarr continues to download the wrong releases. Any thoughts?
Without seeing debug logs its really tough to say, given that the US title didn’t have a TVRage ID for it, it would be matching on title alone and unless they both have US it should have failed.
I’ve added the TVRage ID now to improve the searching though. If you refresh the series in about an hour and its still grabbing weird results, please pastebin some debug logs.
I think you might be onto something there with the TVRage ID. In Sonarr both versions of the show are pointing to the same TVRage ID. The US version has TVRage ID 38586 but I can’t find an ID for the AU version of this show. It has it’s own page link shown below but I don’t know how to look up the ID.
Small hint markus, the tvrageid is in the poster url. and the ‘Click here to apply if you want to be the editor’ url uses it too.
I agree though, it should’ve been more prominent.
So now that we’ve established the appropriate TVRage ID how does that get updated? Skyhook is still returning the wrong TVRage ID. http://skyhook.sonarr.tv/v1/tvdb/shows/en/277531 returns TVRage ID 38586 but it should be returning 38619.
By the way, this did not resolve the original issue I was having but I’m glad it’s fixed anyway. Turns out it’s messed up on the indexer side. They have episodes associated with TVRage ID 38586 which hasn’t yet aired and they should be associated with 38619. I’ll have to submit that for correction to the indexer.
