Release is Blacklisted

Sorry if this is a stupid question but have searched to no avail.

Recently I have started seeing messages from Sabnzbd were a download has failed. If I do a manual search in NZBDrone and I locate the download that failed it shows the exclamation with a message of Release has been Blacklisted. Will NZBDrone try to download again later or is that source considered a lost cause? I ask because if I wait a bit and manually tell it to download the blacklisted release it will download without error.

Does it blacklist by name? I’ve found a lot of NZBs at a younger age are named the same and are completely fine, is there a setting to blacklist by name and age?
