I recently had a hard drive failure and I’m trying to get Sonarr to redownload all of the files it says I have. I’ve tried telling Sonarr to scan the directories for some of the shows, but it still seems to think the files are on the disk. Is there a way I can force Sonarr to fully scan and detect deleted files? It’s normally pretty good about that when I delete files but it’s not working now. If not, is there a way I can tell Sonarr to forcefully redownload files? When I try to download them, it says it won’t because it’s not a quality upgrade.
Sonarr won’t rescan a series if the series folder is missing, if you enable Create empty season folders Sonarr will create the folders then recognize the files are missing.
Enabling the Create empty season folders setting did the trick for getting Sonarr to recognize that files are missing. Is there a way to get Sonarr to forcefully redownload files without having to do a Refresh to clear the files that are missing and then going one by one and doing a search for the episodes?

I guess I can just redownload a whole season instead of the files I need. That would suffice for now. Thanks for the help
