Questions about Search and Results (Torrents)

I am currently only using Torrents;

  1. I search for a single episode and add it to the download queue. The icon then shows that the episode has been added to the download queue. However, if I search for the same episode again, the icon change back and gives me the option to add the Torrent to the download queue again. Why doesn’t the icon stick after the first addition?

  2. If I do an automatic search for a whole season (clicking the magnifying glass at top of the season), a whole season pack is usually downloaded. Is there some way that I could search for this manually? The only way I know of is to search for an individual episode, but then the season packs never show up…

  3. Related to the question above, Sonarr is currently downloading a whole season pack in 1080p. However, when I search for 1080p as an individual episode (the only way I know of), there are no 1080p episodes in the search results. How can one be downloaded if it does not show up in the search?

  1. Different searches, normally it will show as rejected if the release has been detected in the download client’s queue

  2. Not currently

  3. Season and Episode searches are different, a season search doesn’t search for every episode in the season one by one, it asks for all releases for that season, which includes season packs.

  1. OK feature request then; show that the episode is currently being downloaded.
    BTW, I tried to add it again, and the icon turned red with a timeout warning.

  2. OK Feature request then (if not already in the list?).

Should I maybe add these as separate posts under feature requests?

  1. We do show thats its being downloaded, in the Queue and the episode list as well as the search results, but that does take a bit of time to update.

  2. Already something we’ll be looking into.
