So from what I read here, if Nzbdrone doesn’t find a working NZB file within the first 100 it pulls up from the indexing site (assuming its an older episode not yet re-posted), I will need to manually search for them? That’s confusing because, for example, I added NCIS Los Angeles to my search queue, Nzbdrone successfully found all but 5 of the episodes. When I did a manual search, I saw more NZB choices of the missing episodes (less than 100 results for each) and was able to download them without error. Why didn’t Nzbdrone grab those? I thought it had a fail detection feature where it would automatically look for missing episodes if previous versions failed. A feature Sick Beard was lacking. Or am I understanding this all wrong?
The 100 results are the latest 100 releases of all shows, which is checked every 15 minutes by default, searches do not fall under that limit.
If its not showing under History -> Blacklist then it wasn’t found and it failed. If it is, it should have re-searched for them as they failed, as long as an acceptable (quality, language, etc) release is found it will grab it.
drone will get up to 1000 results from indexers for a season search, so it should find everything, but if the indexer didn’t return it, or there were more than 1000 results you would have to search for them individually, rare that it would get to 1000, but not impossible depending on how many qualities its available in, how many episodes in the season and how many times everything has been posted. You can always do a manual search (not automatic) and see the full list of results drone returns for a single episode search.
Thanks for the clarification
