Proper naming convention in folder, not filename, preventing import

Sometimes Sonarr grabs an episode and it downloads successfully, but it won’t be imported due to a different naming convention on the filename level. I’ve been experiencing this specifically with Sons of Liberty episodes as of late. For example:

Non-sample file detected: [/path/Sons of Liberty 2015 S01E02 The Uprising 720p HDTV x264-DHD/Sons.of.Liberty.2015.E02.The.Uprising.720p.HDTV.x264-DHD.mkv]

Here you can see that the NZB/folder had the appropriate season and episode style, but the filename didn’t and prevented an import. Once I rename the file to include the season and ep, it goes through.

Sometimes NZBs have the wrong title or episode numbers, and I’ll rename it in SAB during download, but Sonarr will still have this issue for import due to the folder/filename difference. Any suggestions?

In the case of Sons of Liberty the filename doesn’t matter, its the folder name that would cause issues, but we’ve added an alternate name for it.

The episodes being numbered differently is still an issue at the moment, but something I have been working on to resolve, it will be fixed in a later release.

It’s the folder? That’s weird, because as soon as I rename the filename to be the same as the folder name, the import goes through.

In any case, I’m glad the episode numbering situation is being worked on! Thanks!

Sorry misread the file name on my phone, you’re right its the filename, didn’t have a season number (this is the scenario we’re working on fixing).
