Profile with multiple downloads of same show

I noticed that Sonarr will download a copy of a show and if it finds a higher resolution will download another copy of a show. Is there a way to tell Sonarr to stop once it found a valid copy? I have a profile where I look for any HD version of the show, 1080, 720 … I don’t care if it finds a 720p first and then a 1080p comes along a day later.

Set the cutoff to the lowest quality you want it to stop at.

I have the cutoff set to the lowest res I want. But it continues to find and download better copies.

I just reviewed the history log, the latest show it downloaded twice both being HDTV-720p. I am sure why it’s downloading the same version again.

Was the original file deleted? If so, do you have Ignore deleted episodes enabled`?
The only reason Sonarr would grab the same quality again is if it’s a proper/repack or the file was deleted and Sonarr sees it as missing.

This is how I noticed it. I use Kodi. The files are showing up multiple times in the Kodi library but the source was deleted. Only the last one downloaded was kept. When I review this history in Sonarr it says the file was deleted to import an upgrade.
