Looks like with 2.0.0.1269, the download folder isn’t scanned anymore, no matter the interval.
It only worked immediately after a download.
i assume you are on the master build as i am running the beta develop build (as a beta tester) and it is scanning fine i just had to rename some files and place them into my drone factory folder about 2 minutes ago and they scanned through fine after about 1 minutes
I am not sure if it is in that version yet but a feature has been implemented to specify the time interval of when the drone factory folder is scanned i have just left mine at 1 minute as it gives sabnzbd time to extract the files
Yes, I’m on master, and before the update, everything was fine.
I’m not sure what you mean by giving sabnzbd time to extract files. The drone scans the folder no matter what, e.g. I often put files that I downloaded elsewhere into it, have them sorted.
Please provide a trace log of the issue and the interval at 1 minute, you can enable trace logging on Settings -> General and then pastebin the resulting log file and PM me a link.
Probably a stupid question, but I can’t download the log.txts without a user login and password, although I have never activated authentication in the options menu.
Hmmm, @protocol77 mentioned the same issue, but I was unable to reproduce it. I’ll take another look though.
Just to confirm, you can view them in the UI, but clicking on download prompts for the username/password? https://trello.com/c/Jo26FlCw/617-opening-log-file-asks-for-password-even-if-one-hasn-t-been-set
Yeah, I can see the logs in the UI. This is how I realized that my tv folder isn’t being scanned anymore.
But clicking and download gives me the login prompt.
Alright, my fault!!
As I see it, there are 3 places to look up the logs.
First: the “table” section in the UI. this log doesn’t show the folder scan like it used to.
Second: the extensive downloadable log files which I cannot access.
Third: the “hardcoded” most recent nzbdrone.txt in the UI, which I can see.
And the folder is indeed correctly scanned. I don’t know what was up earlier when I posted the issue.
Everything is fine now.
@bert thanks, I’ll dig a little deeper.
Glad its scanning properly, depending on the series it might have been due to the change in leaving The at the beginning of the series name intact, but the series not being updated yet. Before we treated The Blacklist as blacklist, which conflicts with a new series (thanks TV gods), so its not compared with theblacklist (same for other shows starting with The).
just to re-iterate what was mentioned above yes i am too having an issue accessing the logs it asks me for a username and password which i do not have set to read the logs i had to go into the logs folder in ProgramData to get them
I,too, dug a little deeper, and it’s happening again.
An episode is scanned, parsed correctly but still not imported.
Markus, I pm’ed you a trace log.
EDIT: alright, looks like it was another naming issue.
