Problems setting up download client (SABnzbd) get error evey time I try to instal

Hi
I am using HP Microserver gen 8 with Windows home server 2011. worked perfectly for a year, now no longer.
when I try to add SABnzbd I get error Problems setting up download client (SABnzbd) - Test was aborted due to an error: Cannot combine OsPaths of different platforms (‘C:\Users\Administrator\Documents’ + ‘Downloads/complete’)

Log shows this
Invalid request Validation failed:
– Test was aborted due to an error: Cannot combine OsPaths of different platforms (‘C:\Users\Administrator\Documents’ + ‘Downloads/complete’)
please help
thanks
Roy

I think it has something to do with the path format you have configured in sab. Can you update the path in sab to downloads\completed and see if it fixes it. If it does we should probably handle it better.

Thank you so much, where exactly in Sab PLEASE?
Roy

SAB’s folder config.

Hi
Thank you for your reply, yes I realise in config, but as I said where exactly please.
Many thanks
Roy

“Folders” in Config.

Completed Download Folder and Temporary Download Folder

Roy

heh,

If you want help via teamviewer send me a message

heres a gif of how to find it… (asusming that is your problem)

Hi Dan
thank you so much, that is exactly what I was doing m8, I would love a teamviewer opportunity if you have time- when is good m8?
thanks
K

sent you a message, if you have skype add me, im around for next 4-6 hours, but may pop out for an hour or so during that

Fixed for him, was from the / instead of \ in his path,

seems to be a sanbznd bug on his Windows Home Server 2011 or something weird with his sabnzbd.ini - was unable to change the paths, path would just revert back to what is was originally.after saving/restarting sabnzbd

had to change paths manually in sabnzbd.ini for him, then it was fine

Wasnt a permissions issue as could change other settings and it would write it to the ini, just not the paths.
