Problem accessing Networked drive (New User)

Hi

I have looked over the forum and have found the same issues but cannot seem to fix it.

My main computer where NZBDrone is running is on a LAN with my Media Centre where all my TV shows etc are stored.

I have installed Sonarr and tried to add the shows but the network drive is not visible to add. I can see it in Windows Explorer OK so I know it is shared and can download to that drive from my seedbox via my main computer eg: Seedbox > Main Computer > Media Centre.

I tried placing the NZBDrone in the startup folder (didn’t know if to place both NzbDrone.Console and NzbDrone in there or just one) so tried both ways.

I tried placing restarted the computer but when I went to get to the console it came up Connection Refused - I was trying on localhost port 8989

If I reinstall NZBDrone it seems to load but of course I cannot see the network drive.

I restarted again and it seemed to load but then I got an error message saying the program had stopped working and Windows is looking for a solution (good luck with that!), and the cmd windows also had a file not found message, but it closed before I could copy it.

Here is the link to the logs if they may help:

I have probably messed something simple up but any help - it seems to work fine if I don’t add it to the startup folder, but then I can’t access the network drive

Thanks
Ernie

  • Stop all instances of Sonarr (Service, Tray and Console)
  • Run C:\ProgramData\NzbDrone\bin\ServiceUninstall.exe
  • Add a shortcut to either NzbDrone.exe or NzbDrone.Console.exe to the startup folder
  • Delete the log files in C:\ProgramData\NzbDrone\logs
  • Restart the computer

Hi

Thanks for that, it seemed to work - all my series have now been added.

Thanks again
Ernie
