Prioritize torrents with more seeds for episodes older than x days

Pretty much what the title says. I know this has been asked before as an option or global change in the way Sonarr’s algorithm chooses a torrent but was wondering if this might be a better compromise.

I find Sonarr is pretty good at grabbing eps that have aired recently but it seems to choose torrents that few of us would manually select as the episode gets older. I was grabbing some files yesterday for shows that are 3 to 12 months old and half of them had little to no seeders and failed to complete. It even chose a torrent with 2 seeders which turned out to be an audio file with no video!

I think having Sonarr switching to choosing torrents with higher seeds as the eps age is logical as these are usually ones which are better quality / have less issues…democratizing the decision process for lack of a better term!

Prioritization is something we’re working towards, the whole system needs to be re-written as it doesn’t work well with both usenet and torrents, its likely that seeds will be weighted higher regardless of age as that is a very important aspect when dealing with multiple items of the same quality.
