I know this feature has been requested. I am suggesting a profile vs a standard list of preferences. This preference profile should work just like the current profile works for quality. This means that it will need a cutoff so it will have to continue to upgrade until the cutoff is met. If you add this profile name in the file name it will know which preference profile was used. Each preference profile will contain preferences in a list order. Each preference will have a “contains” and “does not contain”. This will enable you to select “x265”, but not have it select an “x265” with “2CH” for audio. And it might be best to assign the preference a quality in the preference profile. This will enable it to skip that preference depending on the quality used. And if no quality is set it will apply to all. And if you add a delay option to each preference it will solve one of the other requested features. This can fix the issue of excessive downloads. The meaning is the preference does not kick in until the delay has been met from the air date.
This feature is must as I keep getting the wrong version downloaded and this will make Sonarr a more complete program.
