Prefer Lowest Quality

I was just wondering if there is anyway we could get an option that prefers lowest quality (up to the threshold set) instead of highest quality.

I know that it is slightly counter intuitive to want low quality tv but it would enable people to add whole series of backlogged episodes where saving space maybe an issue.

i.e.

Adding the whole of “Program A” which has 50 Seasons in it. I would like to add it in SDTV in order to preserve space but if an episode is not available in SDTV then I want to search higher qulaities for it until I have the lowest quality that is available for each episode.
