Sonarr version (exact version): 2.0.0.4383 Mono version (if Sonarr is not running on Windows): 4.4.2 (Stable 4.4.2.11/f72fe45 Mon Apr 18 18:21:11 CEST 2016) OS: QNAP QTS 4.2.2 Build 20161021 ((Debug logs)): sonarr.debug.txt (Make sure debug logging is enabled in settings and post the full log to hastebin/pastebin/dropbox/google drive or something similar, do not post them directly here) Description of issue:
Greetings and Salutations,
I’m new to Sonarr so I would like to say wow, this product is fantastic! Coming from SickRage is a breath of fresh ari, Sonarr is very polished and easy to use.
So some, not all, of the show images are broken. Only a fraction of the image displays. The debug log indiactes an error, take a look.
I have tried to delete everything except for the kitchen sink in the Series and Season folders, only leaving the actual video files intact. Refreshed all of the seasons and still have the same problem.
The actual image files look fine when opening them up directly through the file system.
Series images used in the UI aren’t stored in the series folder, they are stored inside the media cover folder inside the App Data folder (as shown in Sonarr’s System: Info section).
The errors you’re referring to in the logs don’t affect displaying images innarr, it just prevents Sonarr from providing better sized images (smaller images when the full sized image isn’t required), this is why they are only logged at debug and say minor error.
Do you mean refreshed all the series (from the series list page)?
Could you provide a screenshot of what you’re seeing?
Yes you can, clear it out and then tell Sonarr to refresh all the series (from the series list page) and it will grab all the files again.
That definitely looks like the files only downloaded partially or are failing to load fully due to some error/browser extension, easiest thing to do is wipe them out and let them redownload.
I cleared it out which ended up resolving a few of them, but there are still two shows that will not generate a proper downsized image, assuming that’s what’s happening here.
oh, but if I right click and choose open image in a new tab it opens a fairly large image at 680x1000. Maybe the image utility isn’t working? What does it use on QNAP to convert?
The UI asks for the size it wants, but the server can still return the fullsized image, you’ll need to check in the media cover directly for that series (4) and see if it’s there. You can also check the folder for a series you’re having issues with and see if there are any problems with the image on disk.
