"Please sign in" when trying to open Sonarr

Sonarr version (exact version): Not sure, but I installed it a few days ago, so the most recent version, probably.
OS: Windows 10 Pro 1511
Description of issue: I installed Sonarr and got it to work perfectly. Today I turned on my PC and it is asking me to sign in… which it didn’t do the past few days. I have no idea how to get around this because it never asked me to login or even make a username or password. I loosely followed this guide, which does mention making one… which I may have forgotten… But I would have made it what I make all my temporary username/passwords… Anyway, sorry I am clearly dumb, but any help would be appreciated.

EDIT: Okay… I got in… I feel like I always figure things out on my own after I ask… It is just a process I go through. I changed “AuthenticationMethod” to none in the config. I think what happened is maybe I enabled it but never set a password up? idk.

Is there any harm in keeping it off?

EDIT #2: Actually I think I see what happened. Last Pass may have automatically filled in the username and password with my routers settings. Ahhahahaha. This is so dumb. Sorry for even making a post.

If you made Sonarr available outside your network by opening the firewall you definitely want authentication enabled, if you’re only accessing it locally without should be fine.

Ah I see. Thanks. I enabled it and added a new password and saved it in last pass, so I am going to hope that will fix everything.
