Please help fix complicated scene naming issue

I am trying to download “Days of Our Lives” for my sister and was faced with some issues with Sonarr finding the releases.

  1. The releases are listed on KAT (Link to releases) with no SxxExx, no “-” between Series Title and Episode Name, and human readable date. e.g. (“Days of our Lives Fri, Mar 27, 2015”).

  2. Once downloaded, the folder (containing the media files with the above mentioned format) is named with the format “DAYS OF OUR LIVES SxxExxx”. (e.g. “DAYS OF OUR LIVES S50E131”).

  3. The SxxExxx used for the folder doesn’t correspond to the TVDB episode index. For example, “Days of our Lives Fri, Mar 27, 2015” is listed on TVDB as S50E97, but is listed as “DAYS OF OUR LIVES S50E131” in the downloaded folder name. It seems as if the SxxExxx should be discarded for proper importing. I was only able to get it to work by manually changing the name to the proper format to force an import.

Sonarr won’t be able to handle the grabbing automatically unless they decide to release them with a more standard naming format: Torrent Search too specific on date

Thexem.de could be used to fix the numbering from the filename to what Sonarr would expect.
