I sometimes find announcement of a new TV show that is not yet in the TV Database. Thus, when I try to add the show, it is not found by Sonarr.
It would be great if I could add the names of these shows as “placeholders” in Sonarr, and then search for all those shows maybe once a month. Now I need to keep those shows in my “private ToDo list” and then manually add them over and over again in Sonarr until they become available.
You could just add them in thetvdb…?
I have no idea where the database gets its data from/? Can anybody just add shows to the database? How? What prevents it from getting messed up if anyone can just add/edit “random” shows?
@Thirrian Until the pilot exact air date is known, TheTVDB does not allow an entry.

The answer is a bunch of mods that have banhammers glued to their hands.
