I have read about this on Windows, but have not seen this problem on OSX. I just installed Sonarr and I am trying to connect to it from another computer and I can’t. I can hit it from localhost on the Sonarr machine itself. I have tried playing with the bind setting and port setting and cannot make anything work. Finally, I have firewall turned off and have no problem when I pull up sickbeard.
You shouldn’t need to change the bind address at all.
Sonarr will automatically listen of all IPs and interfaces, which you can confirm via the startup logs by checking which address Sonarr is listening to, which should be http://*:8989.
The only other thing that would prevent access is a firewall.
Are you able to access Sonarr by the IP address of your system from the same machine?
