Would you guys ever consider having this and the other options cookie based so that the selection is remembered in table view? And to also see maybe a different color of text if a user did in fact select for example “Next Airing” etc…

Yes, we want persistence, Added to Trello: https://trello.com/c/Mtl70oAs/340-remember-sort-state-between-view-changes
Not sure what you mean by different colored text if selected, can you elaborate? If you mean change the colour of the text in the column when its sorted, I don’t think we would do that, there is an indicator at the top of the column to show which one is sorted.
Are you referring to the up/down arrow? If so, how does that tell someone that it has been selected?
I guess I am actually referring to myself. In my experience an up/down arrow indicates a sort order of either ascending or descending or maybe that’s not the indicator that you were refereeing to?
My idea was that the actual selection, once selected would change color. For example, black (normal) and red (selected).
Anyway, I appreciate the addition to trello.
Selecting what though? The row? I thought you meant highlighting the sorted column.
Black -> Next Airing (normal text color)
Red -> Next Airing (selected text color)

It was just a suggestion and it might be overkill.
I still don’t get it. How does this selected column differ from a sorted column? Why would you want to select a column at all?
Not to worry. It is no big deal. I’ve tried my best to explain it but if you’re not getting it. It is fine the way it is. (:
