We finally have the automatic failed download detecting and blacklisting that download and trying again. And it is fantastic. I was wondering if we could also have an option to ignore quality settings on redownloads so that if all SD files of a show are failing it can then attempt 720p/1080p downloads.
While this would be a nice to have it would be pretty difficult to implement as each release is tested individually and only acceptable releases are eligible for download. Something like this would have to allow quality based on failure of acceptable quality.
If all releases of you wanted qualities are exhausted you will need to resort to manual searching (via drone). I think the proper solution for this issue would be: https://trello.com/c/dmuIBWwH/224-customize-quality-order - which would allow you to rank SD above HD releases.
