Open browser on start loading even when turned off

Hi can someone please help me
I have the following setting
Open browser on start up turned OFF yet it still loads up when I reboot my pc

How do you have drone starting on boot? Service, tray or console?

Please provide logs of drone starting up and opening the browser (drone logs on start up if it will open the browser).

Sorry for late reply and thank you for you quick reponse

nzbdrone put I file in my startup folder

I found the following within the logs
14-8-12 22:35:54.2|Info|BrowserService|Starting default browser. http://localhost:8989
14-8-12 22:35:54.3|Info|ProcessProvider|Opening URL [http://localhost:8989]
14-8-12 22:35:58.8|Info|SceneMappingService|Updating Scene mappings
14-8-12 22:35:59.0|Info|HousekeepingService|Running housecleaning tasks

Running the tray (NzbDrone.exe) or as a console window (NzbDrone.Console.exe)? Both should honour that flag, but knowing which you’re running will help me investigate.

Sorry I’m running nzbdrone.exe

I am unable to reproduce this, added a shortcut to NzbDrone.exe in my startup folder, rebooted and the setting was respected.

Please verify that the setting is set properly, if it is, please make a backup of drone’s config and DB and PM me a link to download it (dropbox, mega, etc) so I can take a look.

Which version of Windows?
Which version of drone?

Hi I’ve sent you a PM

I’m using Windows 7 Pro and I have Version 2.0.0.1690 of NZBDRONE

cheers

Thanks, its not something with your drone config. Its definitely something on your system causing it. Do you happen to have drone in the start up folder twice? Or something else that starts your browser on start up?

I don’t have it twice, but I do have sabnzbd and mylar in the start up folder

Hello,
I’m having the same problem. NZBDrone always opens in a browser window, even though I’ve configured the settings to not do this. We’re you ever able to resolve the issue?

Running Windows 7
nzbdrone.exe is in my start up folder.

Any suggestions at all would be very much appreciated.

I am having this issue as well. I’m on Windows 8 Pro with a shortcut to nzbdrone.exe in my startup folder

Still having the issue :frowning:

Mark sure the NzbDrone windows service is not installed if its installed you can remove it by running: ServiceUninstall.exe in C:\ProgramData\NzbDrone

You’d also notice that the tray icon is not visible when sonarr (drone) is running.
