"Old API Not Supported" - uTorrent v2.2.1

What’s the deal with removing support for older versions of uTorrent? The newer versions are bloated, buggy and not worth the extra garbage that comes with…

I don’t uTorrent a lot through Sonarr but it’s asinine that a perfectly stable and usable version of uTorrent is no longer usable.

I guess I’ll have to setup a different torrent client for Sonarr (or just not use Torrent with Sonarr) but I was just wondering what the rationale is for the change. Security hole? New feature? Sold your soul to the Devil?

Support for uTorrent < 3.x never existed and thus by definition cannot have been removed.

The uTorrent 2.x api does not provide all the information that Sonarr needs, which is why it’s not supported, it never was.
