Description of issue:

Some help please? I’m having Sonarr and all my “services” behind reverse proxy Apache. Both Sonarr and NZBhydra on same machine

If my NZBHydra is at http://external.com/hydra/ [EXTERNAL ADDY] or http://192.168.0.22:8052/hydra/ then what should my Sonarr “Add Newznab” connection show for URL???

If I use http://192.168.0.22:8052/hydra/ and the API key from Hydra then all I get is “No results were returned from your indexer, please check your settings.”

Have you tried doing a manual search across your indexers from within Hydra, just to test and make sure hydra is configured properly?

Also hydra has logs that will show you what sonarr is doing when (if?) it connects - check those.

Hydra log shows nothing since it doesnt see any attempt from Sonarr to connect. I can search fine from Hydra with no premium accounts added. I also tried adding my Dognzb account and it didnt like that.

That means Sonarr made the request and got an empty response back. If you enable ((debug logging)) in Sonarr you can see the URL Sonarr is requesting and make sure results are coming back properly that check specifically requests the RSS page.

Thanks… I noticed it worked as soon as I added DogNZB (and was within my API limit). It seems that Hydra only works for Sonarr IF you have a “pay” service included?

It shouldn’t matter, but that’s between your indexer and Hydra since Sonarr only receives what Hydra sends it.

Do you mean that Hydra won’t work with Sonarr if you only use the services like Womble and Binsearch? I don’t think those sites can be searched with by using the tvrage or tvdb ID that Sonarr uses.

If you think you found an error, post it on NZBhydra’s github. The author is good about fixing the bugs quickly.

Sonarr falls back to searching by the title if the ID search fails so that shouldn’t be a problem. Womble’s doesn’t support search as far as I know, just RSS.

Ah, I didn’t know that. Good to know.
