I’m trying out NZBDrone after many years of service from Sick Beard.
I am using SAB as my downloader, and have a category (“tv”) set up to download to,
/media/storage/4/Downloads/Downloaded/TV
I keep my final downloaded shows to,
/media/storage/all/video/TV
Right now Sick Beard allows me to “move” the shows, after processing, into the final show location.
I can’t, for the life of me, figure out how to get NZBDrone to do this. How do I let NZBDrone know where I keep my files for it to process?
drone will pull this information right from SAB, you need setup SAB as a download client in drone and set the category to ‘tv’ and drone will communicate with SAB to determine if the file is downloaded and extracted then it will move it to the folder assigned to that series.
Perhaps I should have been more clear, how do I tell NZBDrone which directory I want it to place the final, process files in? ie the location where all my existing shows that I downloaded with Sick Beard are.
when you go to add series you click on Import existing series on disk then you put in you drive path it will then start to load all existing series on there now i assume this is only if they are in individual folders but it may work without however never tried it as i like my series organized
you then go through one by one and the ones you want to add to nzbdrone you set a few options like starting season and quality you want and click add it is super simple
if it is a new show when you type the name in it will give you an option to choose the directory you want to save in usually listed are the import directories you previous adding however you can add others by selecting “Add a Different Path”
