You can always get the latest version from http://www.nzbdrone.com

There is no migration path from v1 to v2, nor are there plans to add that at this time. so you will have start with a clean database and re-add all your shows.

How do I get this new version to run as a windows service as v1? Sorry if it is a dumb question but I ran NzbDrone.exe and it doesn’t show up in services.

If you didn’t remove the service last time you can just use the same path and it will work. Otherwise it run nzbdrone.exe /i from an admin command prompt. Running the exe runs the application standalone it does not install the service (nor did it in v1).

Hmm… odd, I never ran any parameters with v1 it was just in services when I checked. Anyway, thanks for the quick response.

You only need to do that once (to install the service, then run the service from that point on).

v1 also included serviceinstall.exe that was a helper for nzbdrone.exe /i - its missing for some reason, but we’ll likely add that back.

It doesn’t take very long to do, most people I’ve talked to have way more than 75. :slight_smile:

OK I feel better now. Is there a link to new features on v2 or improvement list etc…
Also will I still be able to run v1 for a week until I migrate over?

Mostly its a new UI, but the whole back end was rewritten. v1 will continuing working, we just won’t be supporting it.

Yeah I did a lot of them , the rest had already been integrated into V2 or were no longer relevant.

I just installed NzbDrone V2, but all airdates (for all series and all episodes) seem to be off for exactly one day.
Example:
True Blood S06E07, real airdate 28 July 2013
Airdate in Nzbdrone: 29 July 2013

As said, this is the same for all series/episodes (Hell on Wheels, Continuum etc. etc.)

Show dates should show relative to the timezone you are in.
The show airs at 9pm EST (GMT-5) it would show as 6pm PST (GMT-8) or 2am GMT.

Times may be off by an hour due to trakt not reporting the proper time for shows airing in EDT (shows GMT-5 instead of GMT-4).

Confused about how to upgrade. I stopped the service, extracted the 2.0 ZIP into the existing NZBDrone folder, then started the service. Now I have no shows. Do I have to recreate everything, or is there a migration path?

First post should contain all the information you need. There is no migration path.
