Description of issue: I have Sonarr set to automatically update itself. (branch:master, updater:built in) and it did so last night. However when I try to update other stuff on my Pi nzbdrone shows up as upgradable even though it should be up to date.

I did do the upgrade through apt-get and it doesn’t show back up, maybe I should have waited until I got some answers.

Should I just remove the repo and always use the automatic updater? Or is this fixable somehow?
Just a small confusing thing, Sonarr seems to work fine in general.

Yes, removing the repo would be best to prevent the two update mechanisms from stepping on each other.apt-get doesn’t know the files were changed, so the upgrade is presented.

You’ll need to fix the permissions on /opt/NzbDrone so Sonarr can upgrade itself automatically, as upgrading with apt-get wipes out the permissions Sonarr requires to upgrade itself.

Ok, I’ll remove the repo then.

I have been doing the automatic upgrades and the apt-get upgrade stuff afterwards before and the automatic upgrades never stopped working… Maybe I will leave that folder and come back if something stops working.
