So i switched over to NZBDrone from Sickbeard 4 days ago and i’m loving it so far, but NZBDrone seems to corrupting my videos.
NZBDrone is running on my ubuntu machine which has SAB and everything on it, i have a cifs share mounted with all my tv shows to copy to. On the first day, every single file downloaded got copied over, but was only half complete and i couldn’t watch most of the episode. So i thought NZBDrone was copying over files before they had completed. I made a script that copied the files to the drone folder after unpacking, but the issue still occurs on some of the files. Some of them are only half the size they should be and you can’t watch the missing half.
It does sound like they are getting unpacked and copied halfway through, is your script copying or moving the files? Moving should be instant, so should not cause the file to only be halfway complete.
Should should enable the setting “Enable folder rename” on Sab’s switches settings page and it will prevent drone from processing files in folders with UNPACK at the start.

It’s a post-processing script that just does ‘mv’. And i have that enabled, the folder used to have UNPACK when they were moved it seemed.

Anyone know what i should do?
Just a quick question, is this a stand alone Ubuntu machine or are you using tretflx appliance?
Could you try, stopping NzbDrone, putting a file in the drone factory folder, starting NzbDrone and then checking to make sure the full file is moved after the next drone factory scan? This will ensure the file is 100% there before NzbDrone has a chance to move it. Since you said it’s not happening with every file, I suggest trying his with a few files.
