This may be a dumb question but I’ll ask any way.
Is there any way that NzbDrone can tell the difference between a 1080p DTS file and a 1080p Dolby file?
I am asking because if I have my quality cutoff at 1080p and lets say the file’s audio was Dolby and not DTS, but then a 1080p DTS file was posted. I guess it would be safe to assume that NzbDrone can’t tell the difference?

Correct, NzbDrone doesn’t differentiate between audio codecs (or even video codecs for that matter), it just cares about the source quality and the output quality.
HDTV = SDTV (HD Source @ 480p)
HDTV 720p = HDTV720p (HD Source @ 720p)
There was a post on the old forums about this, but not sure it was ever turned into a feature request, so if its important, please check that there isn’t one (99% sure there isn’t) and then feel free to create one
